The 2017-18 Crucian Christmas committee is asking the public to send in their theme submissions for the 2017-18 Festival. The theme can highlight the history, culture or movement of Festival. This year is our 65th anniversary. We are looking for a theme that reflects our unique brand and will entice a global audience to experience St. Croix Festival 2017-2018!
The annual Village will be staged in the parking lot near the Paul E. Joseph Stadium and will last for 12 days, beginning on December 26 and ending on January 6.
The length of the village and its start date is calculated by counting backwards from the dates of the parade, which traditionally occurs on the first Friday and Saturday of the New Year – January 5th and 6th. This year the village will begin 12 days before the Adults parade.
The Children’s parade will begin at the Claude O. Markoe School on January 5. The scheduled start time is 10 a.m. The parade will proceed down King Street to the Village area.

J’ouvert Morning revelers gather at Hannah’s Rest corner at 5:00 a.m. on January 3. The action begins when the VIPD gives the ok.
The Food, Arts and Craft Fair starts at noon on January 3 around the Eliza McBean Clock Tower.
